Front Page Exclude By Date

A basic plugin that excludes posts published before a given date from appearing on the front page. This can be useful if you want to “reboot” your blog but don’t want to lose all previous posts and break all links to them.

  • Plugin admin interface to select starting date.

  1. Copy the ‘front_page_exclude_by_date’ directory into your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Edit the options in ‘Settings > Front Page Exclude By Date’ and set the post starting date in yyyy-mm-dd format.
