This plugin is designed for INTERNAL viewing only. Which means that all public viewing must be done within the website itself. This means that you MUST allow public access inside your website in order for applicants to view a grid of jobs listed.
But if your website is a promotional website such as posting a job for the public to see on a page without signing into the website as a subscriber or user. The website owner is forced to create a list of the “posting pages URLs” that you’ve named each job title for the post. Example: if your settings in this plugin to post the jobs to ABC123 COM/CAREERS page and you create a job title of “Producer”, the public viewing of that page will end up being ABC123 .COM/producer and NOT be posted on the CAREERS posting page assigned so that the jobs are visible according to the page you’ve assigned the plugin in settings.
In a website where security is utmost important where no internal access of a website is suppose to be used by the public. The jobs should be posted outside the website dashboard. This plugin is a fair plugin but could use much more basics for the free version rather than having to create a description, salary/hourly, contact person, phone number template inside the text body area.
KEY FEATURES that are listed in this plugin should be displayed in a way so that people who wish to review the plugin by clicking “details” inside the plugin area should see which KEY FEATURES are BASIC and which are PREMIUM. As it is now, you need to install the plugin, go through the entire process of creating a job title etc, until you come across a KEY feature that isn’t available in BASIC. Time annoying process that turns users and developers away. By OMMITTING this basic marketing of just having a LIST of KEY FEATURES, it misleads you into believing that you get ALL of these KEY FEATURES in BASIC setup.
Overall, the plugin is simplified and easy for beginners if you want to give everybody internal access to your website’s dashboard. ReCaptcha needs to be updated to V3 or at least provide the option. Otherwise you get the ERROR code; “ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key” on the page. Only V2 is available in the plugin.
The DEFAULT posting page field URL location of ” /job-openings/ ” doesn’t change when you choose the “CAREERS” page that you’ve chosen in the settings within the plugin.
